In the outskirts of Dzhazator Yuzhno-Chuiskiy and Katunskiy mountain ridges are situated in the vicinity of the plateau Ukok. Here run the following rivers: Argut, Dzhazator, Ak-Akakha, Koksu, Karagem and others. On the way to Dzhazator there are a lot of barrows and ancient petroglyphs.
In close proximity to the village Dzhazator the peak Iiktu, the steppe Samakha and Karagemskiy inrush on Argut are located.
The Karagemskiy inrush is the most complicated hindrance on the rivers of Former Soviet Union.
In order to see this affecting spectacle you should plan the whole day. You can reach the Karagemskiy inrush by car taking the way to the village Argut.
